“Loved, Blessed and Multiplied”
Deuteronomy 7:1-13
Sermon Notes 01/28/2024
To be loved, blessed and multiplied He must be the Lord, your God (vs 1,2,6,9,12).
For God to be the Lord your God, His light must completely destroy the darkness (vs 2-5)(Romans 13:11-13).
Living in the light of the Lord your God reveals His desire for holiness among the redeemed and His choice to respond to their faith in Him as the Lord their God by treasuring them as His treasured possession (vs 6)(Titus 2:11-14).
In His light, love and blessings are multiplied by the Lord our God who is faithful to keep covenant and steadfast love with those who love Him and keep His commandments (vs 7-13)(John 14:15).
Is He the Lord your God? Do you trust Him to completely destroy darkness as He sees fit? Are you willing to pursue holiness and live by faith as His treasured possession? Do you equate loving God with keeping His commandments?
